Katie McMichael brings considerable policy and moving and storage industry expertise. She previously served as Executive Director of the American Trucking Association's Moving and Storage Conference, overseeing the creation of the Moving and Storage Conference in August 2020. Prior to joining the association, McMichael served as director of government affairs for the American Moving and Storage Association, where she worked as the organization's lead lobbyist responsible for educating and increasing the presence of the household goods industry with Capitol Hill staff and legislators, and directed grassroots efforts within the association. She has also held positions with Aurora Innovations, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and Florida Congressman John L. Mica.
