Happy New Year! The year ahead will bring important implementation questions, and Movers for America is committed to keeping the industry informed and engaged as policies and rules continue to change.
As a reminder, the PCS Joint Task Force will host an online Cybersecurity Workshop on January 14, from 1:00–3:00pm CT, focused on Level 1 cybersecurity requirements under the new 2026 Business Rules. This session is an important opportunity to gain clarity on current expectations and best practices, as the industry prepares for Level 2 cybersecurity requirements set to take effect just over a year from now. While RSVPs closed on January 5th, Movers for America will share key takeaways and any additional guidance provided by the Task Force with the broader industry next week.
In the meantime, we want to hear directly from YOU. As new Business Rules take shape, your feedback remains critical to ensuring policies reflect real-world operations. We encourage all movers to share their perspectives by completing a new survey on CMMC compliance and helping guide our advocacy work in the months ahead.
